One-click OAuth
FlowRouter uses HubSpot's standard OAuth 2.0 flow. Click Connect HubSpot from your dashboard, authorize in HubSpot, and you are done. The entire process takes about 30 seconds.
There is no API key to copy, no developer portal to configure, and no webhook URLs to register manually. FlowRouter handles all of that behind the scenes.
What FlowRouter reads
FlowRouter syncs your HubSpot schema so the flow builder can reference your actual properties, objects, and team structure.
- Contacts, companies, and deals — Properties and record data used to evaluate routing rules (filters, territory matching, account matching).
- Owners and teams — The list of HubSpot users available for assignment and their team memberships.
- Forms — Form definitions so you can trigger flows on specific form submissions.
- Custom objects — If your portal uses custom objects, FlowRouter can read and route them too.
What FlowRouter writes
FlowRouter only writes what it needs to complete the routing action.
- Owner assignment — Sets the HubSpot owner field on contacts, companies, or deals.
- Property updates — Optionally stamps routing metadata (e.g., routed-by, routed-at) on records for audit purposes.
FlowRouter does not delete records, modify pipelines, or change your HubSpot configuration.
Required permissions
The connecting user needs Admin or Super Admin access in HubSpot. FlowRouter requires a Professional or Enterprise plan for API access.
The OAuth scopes requested cover read/write access to contacts, companies, deals, owners, and forms. The full scope list is shown on the HubSpot authorization screen before you grant access.
Multi-portal support
FlowRouter supports one HubSpot portal per workspace. If you operate multiple portals, create a separate FlowRouter workspace for each. Flows and configuration are isolated between workspaces.
